It’s closer to the lake. There are stores at a walking distance along with some fast food joints and a good coffee shop called Mugby Junction. The location of the property is just perfect. Witnessed the best sunset ever. Even though I didn’t have a vehicle, the Winona Amtrak station is 30 minutes by walk. You can travel without any vehicle of your own if you’re are up to walking.

The room was big, clean, & accommodating. I loved the tree screens on the windows. My room was right next to the elevators, & you didn't hear a thing. The breakfast was also very good. Lots of options & varieties. The staff was very friendly & speedy when things ran out for breakfast. The hot tub was so nice & relaxing.

Good breakfast, although some issues with the coffee thermos not working properly. But I really liked the mixed fruit bowl. The room was great, although the curtains had to be shut just right or the light came in. It was also easy to find as it was right near the highway, but...see below.

Business purpose was meetings at Winona State University. Great location, close to campus. Beautiful city. Really nice, clean, and updated property. Sunday was crowded, but the nice breakfast was able to handle things.

The hotel was immaculate in terms of cleanliness and quality at breakfast and the upkeep on the gym. My stay lasted five nights, and each day was met with the same level of excellence .
